We’ve teamed up with our friends who run a small, ethical husky sledding business nearby. You’ll feel the incredible energy of the dogs as they do what they love most—running along the trails, giving you a real husky sledding experience.

When do the winter retreats run?

Our winter retreats are available from December to April, providing you with a range of opportunities to experience the beauty of Lapland during its most magical season.

How long are the retreats?

The retreats run for seven days and six nights, arriving on a Monday, departing on a Sunday.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll enjoy four days of planned activities, along with one free day. If you’re looking for more adventure, plenty of optional activities are available for you to book.

What is the group size for the retreats?

We keep our groups small to max 8 people. This ensures a more personal and intimate experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the activities and the natural surroundings.

What is not included?

Breakfast & Dinner – The cabins are self catering and shopping centre is centrally located. There are many nice restaurants and cafes in town.

How do I get there?

Our local airport is Kittilä (KTT) which can easily be reached via Helsinki. Finnair is the main airline offering this route. Once you arrive, you will transfer from the airport to Äkäslompolo (45 min journey)

Is it suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! These programmes are great for all levels. We work with each individuals and group ability.
