Windsurfing in Connemara

Catch your first breeze at Gurteen Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. Its protected bay is a safe and beautiful place to learn, with white sand underfoot and the Connemara hills all around.

Your instructor guides you step by step: how to stand on the board, raise the sail, steer, turn and sail back to the beach. Then it is time to enjoy your first glide across the bay.

Is this for you? Every level is welcome. Lessons are tailored to you with a 1:3 instructor ratio, so beginners get plenty of personal attention. Guided personally by Ciara, who leads windsurfing and sea kayaking instruction on this coastline. Meet the team.
