Small group journeys into the true wilderness of Finnish Lapland
In the far north, winter moves at its own rhythm. The sun disappears for weeks, snow buries the forests, and silence stretches for miles. This is our home – a small base, 200km above the Arctic Circle in the Pallas-Ylläs National Park, where we live with our huskies.
Our Arctic trips are more than tours. They are invitations to join our way of life. You’ll spend a week in a small group of just six guests, sharing meals, saunas, and snowy adventures. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to work with our huskies, as part of the team.
Whether you join us to celebrate the Return of the Sun in January, or come north for the Women’s Wilderness Week in February, these journeys are built around connection, community, and the wild beauty of Lapland.
You can also visit anytime – rent one of our cabins, book husky adventures or winter activities separately, or simply rest, recharge, and take it all in at your own pace.
Work Side by Side with Huskies
This is more than a quick sled ride. You’ll learn to feed, harness, and run with our huskies – guiding them on sleds, snowshoes, and skis. By the end of the week, you’ll know what it feels like to truly travel with a husky team.
Stay in Wilderness Cabins
Our trips are based in cosy cabins surrounded by forest and frozen lakes. Some are traditional cabins, others are modern wooden cabins, but all are warm, welcoming, and perfectly placed for evenings of stargazing or northern lights.
True Wilderness Setting
Explore the pristine landscapes of Pallas-Ylläs National Park which has the largest cross-country ski trail network in Finland. Snowshoe across untouched fells, ski forest trails, and feel the silence of the Arctic far from busy resorts.
Getting here is easy too: Kittilä Airport is just 40 minutes away, with daily flights from Helsinki and good connections from across Europe.
