Move With Nature

Sea kayaking, windsurfing, snowshoeing, husky adventures, and wilderness retreats — Move with Nature offers small-group experiences in two of Europe’s most breathtaking landscapes: the wild Atlantic coast of Ireland and the Arctic wilderness of Finnish Lapland.

In summer, explore Connemara’s white-sand beaches and islands by kayak or windsurfing, discovering the magic of the Atlantic at your own pace.

In winter, step into our Lapland home above the Arctic Circle, where we guide snowshoe tours, ski days, and immersive Arctic retreats in Pallas–Ylläs National Park — a region known for its pristine trails, northern lights, and the cleanest air in the world.

A highlight is to spend time with our team of eight huskies – six young dogs with their mom and dad. Join us for husky snowshoe tours, guided walks, and hands-on training workshops for an authentic taste of Arctic sled dog life.

We live in these places year-round and share the trails, coastlines, wildlife spots, and local cafés we love most. Whether you’re looking for an active adventure or a peaceful retreat into nature, you’ll be welcomed like a friend and guided with genuine passion and expertise.

About us

Meet Our Team

Welcome to Move with Nature, where Ciara and Susi lead our small team with a shared passion for wilderness exploration and adventure.

Our family includes eight huskies – six young puppies full of energy and curiosity, along with their experienced mom and dad. They are central to our journeys, teaching us patience, joy, and the rhythm of Arctic life.

Ciara, from Ireland, brings years of experience as a watersports instructor and now guides immersive wilderness tours in Finland with both humans and huskies.

Susi, with over two decades in Lapland as a veterinary technician, has devoted her life to training and caring for huskies, sharing her deep connection with the Arctic landscape.

Together, we offer authentic, personal, and passionate experiences from kayaking Connemara’s coastlines to snowshoeing Lapland’s silent forests. Join us to discover the beauty of the great outdoors and the companionship of huskies in wild places.

What Our Customers Say

Really friendly and informative
Went kayaking to Inishlacken. Ciara was an amazing guide! Really friendly and informative. I can't swim so was nervous about sea kayaking but her reassuring nature put me at ease and I had a ball!

Magnificent - truly breathtaking
I highly recommend this amazing and fun kayaking experience! Ciara was the perfect guide. The scenery was magnificent - truly breathtaking! We paddled to Inishlacken and Ciara shared so many wonderful stories about this beautiful island. Our group of 7 became fast friends! I am so happy I got to experience something this outstanding. It was a highlight of my time in Galway (and Ireland).

Out of this world
Excellent windsurfing lessons that were expertly guided by both Ciara and Shane. Ciara is one of the most methodical teachers out there and breaks down the lessons into manageable bite size chunks to get them set down. She is incredibly patient with both kids and very slow adults like myself. The locations are out of this world. An excellent start to your adventure in the West.

Views that are second to none
A big thank you to Ciara who recently took our family of four on a kayak around the bay. Ciara is a wonderful, bright, happy person who is very engaging, knowledgable and well equipped. We were thrilled when we got to see a seal while out on the water! Roundstone is an absolutely gorgeous and safe place to kayak, with views that are second to none. Ciara, we wish you well in your future endeavours and hope to see you again soon in the not to distant future!
